Day Seven

I woke up this morning around 3:00 am to a slight nibbling at my toes and low and behold, a chipmunk was hoping for a midnight snack on my feet. The friend's apartment that I was staying at is a large apartment with 5 rooms and one of the girls happens to have a chipmunk. Needless to say, I was not happy. After the rodent issues were solved, I went back to sleep, barely. :)

Some friends and I also went to the Iowa City Farmer's Market this morning. I indulged in a few tomatoes, cucumbers and a freshly made cinnamon roll. I couldn't pass it up! Having the fresh veggies is so nice and they are just way more fun to cook with! The rest of the afternoon was rather lazy due to the lack of sleep last night. My sorority sister Rachel came into town tonight for a birthday so we celebrated by eating way too much at Texas Roadhouse! Their fresh bread and onion blossom were absolutely delicious and I was full before my meal even came. It was so nice spending the night out of my apartment with a few good friends!
